No. The process is designed to be calm and pain-free, allowing your pet to pass peacefully.

Making the Right Decision

How do I know if it’s the right time?

This is the most difficult question a pet owner faces. We provide “Quality of Life” consultations to help you assess your pet’s daily comfort, mobility, and happiness. We use clinical scales and heart-to-heart discussions to help you make an informed, compassionate decision.

During & After the Visit

What should I expect during the visit?

Our priority is peace and dignity. The process typically involves:
1. A Sedative: A small injection that helps your pet fall into a deep, pain-free sleep within 5–10 minutes.
2. The Final Medication: Once you and your pet are ready, the final medication is administered, allowing the heart to gently stop.
The doctor will explain every step before it happens so there are no surprises.
How long does the appointment last?
We do not rush these moments. Generally, a visit lasts between 45 to 60 minutes, allowing plenty of time for you to say goodbye at your own pace.

Can my family be present?

Yes, we encourage a setting where loved ones can be present and say goodbye.

Can my other pets be present?

Yes. In many cases, having other household pets present helps them understand that their companion has passed, which can aid in their own grieving process. We only ask that they are calm enough not to disrupt the procedure.

Aftercare and Logistics

What happens to my pet afterward?

We offer several options depending on your preference:
* Individual Cremation: Your pet is cremated alone, and their ashes are returned to you in a memorial urn.
* Communal Cremation: Your pet is cremated with others, and no ashes are returned.
* Home Burial: You may keep your pet for private burial (subject to local zoning laws).

Do I need to provide anything for the appointment?

You don’t need any special medical equipment. We suggest choosing a favorite spot—a bed, a sofa, or even a sunny patch in the yard. Having some soft towels or a favorite blanket nearby is helpful.

How much does the service cost?

When is payment collected?

To allow you to focus entirely on your pet during the appointment, we prefer to handle paperwork and payment at the beginning of the visit or via an online invoice prior to our arrival.
